This album marks a transition in my life, going from a failed relationship and life of depression to being able to move on with my life and find happiness once again.

Living in the desert, I rarely get to see rain, so it's very special when the rain finally does come down. The absence of rain is a metaphor for the emptiness and loneliness I've felt for much of my life.

Though most of the composing and recording was done in just a week, it took about 3 weeks to complete this album.
